Our Mission
The Webb City Area Genealogical Society was established in 1990. The purpose of the Society is to bring together people who are interested in the subject of family Genealogy and the research of same; to collect and preserve Genealogical records, to study ways and means of researching Genealogy and to share experiences, information and research materials with each other; to instruct and assist members, to sponsor meetings, workshops, classes and to cooperate with other groups of similar interest; and to help enlarge the History & Genealogy Room of the Webb City Public Library by providing volunteer workers in the genealogy room and to contribute books, microfilm, microfiche and other materials relating to Genealogy.
The Webb City Area Genealogical Society meets the first Tuesday of each month
at 6:00 p.m. in the genealogy room, third floor, Webb City Public Library. Visitors
are welcome.
